I took some pictures for an old friend today I have not seen in 6 years. We are "friends" on Facebook and thanks to that I have had my first customer. Well other then family, but that don't count. lol

She (the momma) was very satisfied with my work.

The little one was nervous and seemed to not want her picture taken. I had to work a little magic on her and bring out some surprises. She warmed up well and we started to have fun.

I love to take pictures of children.

I am going to try and blog more often too!!!

David lost his first tooth today!!!

David lost his first tooth and got to ride the scooter he bought with christmas/birthday money!!!
He is getting so big!!!

I Heart Faces contest, Hands

I love these hands, they may be old, worn, and rough. These hands are also gentle. They have a barn, oil, and car parts smell that is distinctive to Grandpa Jack. He is my Grandfather so that little hand is baby Jack, the Great Grandson. My dad died when I was 12 and Grandpa Jack was always there for me. He gave me away at my wedding. He sticks up for me when I need it. He is ornery. Most importantly he loves my boys and is the best Grandfather anyone could ever dream of. He might be a stinker sometimes and pick on ya, but there is always a lesson to be learned. Grandpa Jack has a song for everything! He also plays his harmonica for the boys while they dance, sing, or play along. Grandpa will take the big boy out to the barn and put um to work! Feeding the animals or working on the old Model "A" coupe. These hands mean more to me then words can express...
